Qualitative method to express creative contribution of scientists and researchers by implementation of the CRediT taxonomy
Various attributes (roles) of authors are used in scientific and academic communication and practice, in scientific and professional publishing of scientific and professional works, in publishing practice, as well as in the agenda of registration of publishing activities. The attributes used so far have not been standardized and unsatisfactorily expressed the qualitative aspects of the author‘s share in the work. The author explains the meaning of the standard taxonomy of CRediT. In scientific communication and in the records of publications in academic institutions, it is recommended to use, in addition to local attributes in the names of authors and contributors, exclusively de iure standard and international codebooks and de facto the most widespread codes and taxonomies. These are: CRediT taxonomy elements and MARC 21 role codes.
