Database of Czech Articles – Database ANL
Summary: The article deals with the history of the Czech article bibliography, founded by Ladislav Jan Živný in the first quarter of the 20th century. Significant changes – the cooperation system, various versions of the bibliography (ANL FULL, ANL+, ANLretro), – were introduced in the last thirty years after the closure of the analytical office in the National Library. The current situation and functioning of ANL is also described and its future direction is indicated.
