    <content:encoded xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/"><![CDATA[<p><strong>SUMMARY:</strong> This	article	describes	mental	and	physical	disorders	that	affect	the	ability	to	 read	aloud	and	presents	the	ways	in	which	selected	European	countries	address	these	 issues.	The	aim	of	the	article	is	to	identify	inspiring	methods	and	programs	that	can	be	 utilized	within	Czech	public	libraries.	The	results	show	that	purposefully	designed	library	 programs	and	appropriately	selected	reading	methods	can	significantly	contribute	to	 the	development	of	reading	skills	and	support	the	inclusion	of	children	with	reading	 disabilities,	whether	physical	or	mental.</p>

    <content:encoded xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/"><![CDATA[<p><strong>SUMMARY:</strong> The	text	presents	the	results	of	a questionnaire	survey	conducted	by	the	 Electronic	Information	Resources	Working	Group,	a part	of	the	Association	of	Libraries	 of	Czech	Universities.	The	purpose	of	the	research	was	to	map	the	impact	of	the	can-	 cellation	of	the	Demand-Driven	Acquisition	(DDA)	service	on	the	ProQuest	platform	 on	acquisitions	and	services,	especially	those	of	Czech	university	libraries.	The	text	 describes	the	current	form	of	this	acquisition	method,	its	added	value,	and	the	alter natives	that	university	libraries	are	considering	after	its	cancellation	in	June	2026.	The	 text	also	includes	the	views	on	this	issue	gathered	through	a questionnaire	survey	of	 several	foreign	libraries.</p>
